Children have different needs when it comes to providing the ideal environment for ambulation in a gait trainer.  The Gait-Way has a variety of accessories that can be added to the base to ensure your child has the assistance he or she needs.  Your therapist and DME professional can help to determine what features will be needed in each particular case.  Our accessories include:

Hand Prompts:  added upper body support

Leg prompts: Anti-Scissoring

Chest Prompt: upper body support

Head pad:  Head safety and control

Anti-Foot Drag:  Prevents feet trailing behind

Wheel lock and drag: prevent or resist rolling

Wheel pivot lock:  keeps unit traveling strait
